gas prices in your area?

WHY is gas so high?

I can't find the link to the really good web page about why gas prices are rising, but I did find this one that somewhat covers the basic subject.

Up again to $4.37 for s/s unleaded. This is at the CHEAP stations just south of San Francisco

My son said today that it's up to $4.34 in L.A.

Today when I gassed up at my regular station I found that the price DROPPED 5 cents!! It was $3.97 now down to $3.92!

A gas station around the corner from me has dropped their price from $3.95 to $3.89 an gallon. However I saw the first station here at the $4.00 mark ($4.09).

Gas went up to $1.46/litre

$5.43/Gallon

Rhode Island $4.09
Conneticut $4.29 - 4.45
New York $4.50

Yesterday I paid $4.139 per gallon and needed 8.94 gallons.

You guys have it good..

It hit $1.41/litre today. It's the equivalent of $5.24 per gallon.

I can't stand it, the prices are so high. Today 6-5-08 the prices are $4.53 a gallon.

I filled up before coming home from Anna_66's house and with the Walmart Card I got it for $3.74!!!

At the gas station that I normally go to which is one of cheapest, it's now $4.27. Most gas stations are at least $4.30 something or $4.40 something.
