I'm so sorry to read about your friend's cat, Kate. You know, I absolutely hate any kind of pesticide and the only reason we've had the house sprayed in the fall and again just the other day is because we have had carpenter ants around. We've heard some noise in our attic (like ants munching on styrofoam-which is something they like to eat) and because our house is on the market, we just had to deal with it.
I hope that we never have to do this again as I think it really is dangerous for our furfamily and for us.

Whew! Another catastrophe averted! I'm so glad Sneakers is doing better. You sound better, too, thankfully.
Thanks Mary. Yes, I do feel better. It's amazing how things seem so bad and then a pet gets ill and you realize that things weren't as bad before that happened and if only they could go back to what they were before the pet got sick. Now that she is better, I'm trying to have a more positive outlook and see my glass as 'half full'. As well, we have an offer that the realtor is bringing us this evening. I have very mixed feelings about it and half of me is excited and the other half is sick to my stomach with grief. I have to 'let go and let God' though and know that things will work out as they should.

Glad for the optimistic update
Thanks.
