Well, I guess I am the first to post from the meeting. What a beautiful day we had - great sunshine and not too high of a temperature, lots of Pet talkers, great food, lots of talk, new friends, and lots and lots of dogs! When we arrived Phred and Cinder and Smoke were already there as were Gretchen (Grace) and her husband (Douglas), Johanna and Jonah, and well, I am not too sure who else - they were the ones up at the food pavilion - unloading 8 dogs (yes, we took them all!) and 2 kids, 3 adults, cooler, food, cameras, - well it was a little crazy for awhile. Thank goodness, Gretchen and Douglas took Tucker off our hands because he was right away trying to cause trouble by jumping up and biting any dog that came near - even his own siblings and cousins.

Arrival and not in order were Angie and Sierra, Robin and Tori and Zack, Monica and Honda, Anna, Mark, Bon, Roxey and Huny, Mary, her two grandaughters, and her dogs, Scruff and ?, Kimmy, Andy, Chipper and Kia, Kimmy's sister and her husband and Sasha, Ashley and Jack, Laurie Baker and her friend, Gini, Staci and Keegan, Joyce and Peanut, Amy, Ralph and Sadie, Cincy, and Spot, Carrie and Gabby, and of course Christy, Jasmine, Dominic, Dakota, Destiny and Sierra, and of course, Clamjuice also known as ..................................are your ready........................... are you sure you want to know..............................Slick!!!! from Canada - what a surprise and nice one at that! Never thought I would get to meet her. If I forgot anyone I am sorry but what a long, tiring day - we got there about 11:15 and didn't leave until 7:00 - with many still staying on. Yes, we got a picture, I am uploading mine now and I will be back in a few minutes with some.

Let's begin our day at home. Carl got to sleep in this morning - or at least he sort of did. Here's the first time I saw him - with 5 dogs.


Tucker wants to know what's going on - and up he goes - 6 dogs in bed with Carl


The next time Dazzi jumped up - now 7 dogs - wonder how much more sleep Carl got?



Aren't Dakota and Destiny just so cute together


Okay every one back to sleep now (Jack almost never gets on the bed- he was probably sleeping on his bed next to Carl's side of the bed.)


Ut oh, here comes trouble - I think sleeping is at an end now as Jasmine joins the crew!

Just wanted to check in and say that I made it home. I'm wore out, Tori and Zack are wore out and Miss Katie is ready to play. Poor girl was home alone all day and is happy to see us.

I had a great time and was happy to see my old friends and thrilled to meet new friends in person. What a wonderful surprise to see Slick and Gini there.

Diana, your pictures are great! I only took a few this time and I'll try to get them uploaded tomorrow. Too tired right now. Left at 9am and got home at 11pm. I'm wiped out!

Oh man what a day! And how exciting...Slick, our first international Pet Talker at Findlay! I have to say I did know it was her, but didn't know the second half of the surprise...our very own California Gini was there

I must say I had a WONDERFUL time and was so glad that we had a loaner dogmobile so we could ALL enjoy the day.
Even Bon got lots and lots of love and doggie treats (mostly coming from Gini and Slick) I want to personally thank them both for showing Bon so much attention and taking him for walks. He really enjoyed himself.

The group photo was pretty hard to get with so many people, so here's the best one I got along with a cute picture of Slick spending some one on one time with Bon and one of the surprise girls!

I didn't get many pictures but I'll post the ones I did get later after some much needed rest.

Diana, I'm loving your pictures. Looking forward to seeing more of them

well I'm home and showered and ready to fall over - I told ZIPPIE I wasn't going to get online but needed to email Joyce so I did.
what a WONDERFUL day -
I knew that Clamjuz was Slick - I flat out asked her awhile ago and she couldn't lie to me but that didn't stop me from telling a few white lies along the way - and then a few weeks ago while I was on the phone with my WEST COAST PET TALK MOM - she couldn't stand it anymore (like a kid in a candy store ) she says I'M COMING! I can't begin to tell you how friggin excited I was. I didn't know if I would get to see Gini again for years! But I was sworn to secrecy so I of course only told one person - who I CAN NOT keep secrets from!!! *ZIPPIE*
Slick, Gini and I were able to go out to dinner last nite in Findlay and surprise Laurie and Mary at dinner
EVERYONE were very shocked to see GINI and SLICK BOTH there. And surprised I was able to keep the secret as well!!!

Karen and Tonya both called and were passed around.
I finally left the park @ 10:10pm
it was a LONG TIRING DAY.
But welllllll worth it! I didn't take many pix tho - I was just toooo busy!

Boy, I must have been tired last night! My last thread didn't post so I guess I pushed the wrong button so here is some of some special little pet talkers.

Dominic, you might be a little young to try and handle two dogs at the same time no matter how little they are!


and here we have two new "best" friends - Jasmine and Jonah - I don't think they hardly left each other sides














This is probably the best one of Jonah's face - I don't think he likes to have his picture taken - which I think he inherited from his mother because I don't seem to have any of her.

Those are great pictures! Glad to see everyone had a great time and it was nice to put some faces to the names (humans and dogs alike ). That picture of Zack and Jonah is awesome!!
