So I thought we could bring the truck instead. Well, we were at Lowe's last night and something happened to it...it wouldn't start and ended up having to be towed home No idea yet what's wrong with it.
So there was no way we could all come in the car (4 dogs and 2 people DO NOT fit in a car...not our dogs anyway...lol!)
I've been very aggravated and upset all day long

Then....

Sometimes people can surprise you with their kindness.

A girl I work with knew how upset I was that I was going to miss our PT picnic that she offered to let me borrow her van for the weekend!
I was in shock. It's not every day someone you work with offers to let you borrow their vehicle.
We have worked together for 10+ years but it's not like we're best friends or anything.
It's one of the nicest things that anyone has done for me in a very, very long time.

So I guess we WILL be coming to the picnic on Sunday! I'm so happy I'm doing the happy dance

I'm so sorry to hear that some of you won't be able to make it. We're really going to miss you, but we'll be thinking of you!

klamjuz, I'm looking forward to finally meeting you!!! (yes, I know who it is)

See you all on Sunday in my loaner dogmobile!
How very nice! You should probably save a couple cookies to give her as a Thank You from Pet Talk for letting you guys attend!

So sorry we won't be there, Anna, give Bon a hug for me, okay? I know Huney doesn't even care that I exist, but give the girls kisses for me anyway. For those who have never been to The Dog Park ... wanna know where Anna is? Follow Huney's nose - when Anna isn't in the dog area, Huney is glued to the fence waiting for Mom Anna to return. No treats or games can distract her, either!
