Buddy left us last night..

Buddy, my guinea pig, is dead. And I think it was my fault.

Sorry for your loss. I'm sure most everyone on here has experienced something similar to this. I still beat myself up over the loss of my Goldie. I blame myself for that one, and truth is ... it WAS my fault.

But we move on. They are "gone but not forgotten and still loved. They will be missed."

Yes, please don't blame yourself! Animals can be unpredictable despite all the possible precautions we can take... Just give Pepsi some extra special attention because I'm sure she's missing her buddy a lot too. May Buddy RIP.
