Update on the trapping and rescue...Aldo is on kidney meds, so hopefully he will be caught and taken to the vet.

RESCUE UPDATE
Trapper is being hired.
Collecting Funds to help with transport for Noelle and checkups, etc.
The cats are NOT at animal control, probably still on the property.
Donations accepted to help all parts of the rescue.

RESCUE UPDATE
Trappers were not very eager to get going.
Laurel's friend was referred to a woman who left her job in the middle of the afternoon to get her traps. They will meet at the house around 6 pm today. She does not want money! Says she has to help because of the special circumstances with Aldo and Tess.

Collecting Funds to help with all parts of the rescue and transport.
The cats are NOT at animal control.
Donations accepted to help with all parts of the rescue and relocation.
I will cover all the paypal fees.

Good News Catsters!
ALDO is in the small workshop on Laurel's property, behind the house. He was seen by Gimme's mom. The woman who brought the traps also saw him. She set a trap there and one nearer the house. Tess was seen yesterday but not today. The next-d00r neighbor will check the traps throughout the evening. Once caught they will be immediately taken to their vet.
Very hopeful that tomorrow will bring even better news,

CATSTERS!
ALDO is in the trap!!! Aldo is in the trap!
The elderly neighbor checked and there he was!
He called Laurel's friend who just emailed me.
The woman who set the traps will pick him up and take him to the vet early morning.
Hooray! I'm shaking as I (mom) write(s) this.
Hoping that by morning Tess is trapped too, keep purring and praying.

Aldo and Noelle are in their new homes, even if foster homes.

No sign of Tess - a worker may have taken her home. Prayers for this kitty please.

And - as rosethecopycat said - people ought to make preparations for their pets for when they die.

Laurel had Wegener's disease...not immediately fatal, but serious enough to warrant planning ahead. She had had the illness for many years...so why she did not plan for her pets is beyond me.
