So, I have transferred the pictures....

I’ll start with a sweet picture of him from the evening before, sitting next to the keyboard - having no clue what hell he had to go through yesterday.

Then, this is an hour before the dreaded box - he does look slightly suspicious, and he did run under the bed before I got him, so I had to chase him out in the kitchen, where my friend was ready to close the door.

Now, this is my poor boy after he came back, he looks so patetic. He was trying to get his spot on my bed and I put him there right after these pictures.

I felt so bad seeing him like this. The vet had given him an extra shot to wake up quicker, but I don’t think it helped much.

Around 8.00 PM I gave him a little plate of some yummy food, that was after I had put him on the floor - I was afraid he would try to jump down while I was in the kitchen.

So here’s Fister eating - he had quite an appetite and managed very well.

A video clip in next post....

The last one is the video clip from when he came home. He was determined to go to the bedroom, and I feel bad I didn’t lift him right away, but since I had the camera ready, I filmed him.

He is back to normal today, and we have spent a lot of time cuddling.

    POOR Fis!

That WAS kind of a *Ruff Trip* from the un-crating to the BigBed room ...
good thing there weren't any more doors that you had to bounce your way through!

Musta been really good *stuff* the Vet gave you for knock-out drops!

  5. Ah Fister! Poor little thing. The stumbles without the "getting drunk" phase....Edwina was like that once and I felt so horrible. Just like Fister....what is wrong with me???? Why???

Glad his appetite is back. Hopefully he will forget all about it. Cuddles to you baby boy!

The video brought tears to my eyes. But I'm glad to hear he is doing much better now.
Please give him some pats and scritchies from me.

I got dizzy just WATCHING Fister try to walk. But I have seen them like this.....it is always pathetic. But they get over it fast enough. And then they are as ood as new.

Glad you had a goodd appetite afterwards.....was it SO bad that you had to stick your tongue out ??

Poor baby Fister looks so pitiful in the video. It's really good that he
was able to eat afterwards. Hope he can rest easy now & feel so much
    better later on.

Poor Fister. I'm so glad that he's back to normal now. I was lucky in that by the time I picked up Storm, the anesthesia had worn off so he was able to walk normally.

As usual I cannot see the video but the pictures tell the story. I always wonder how they can be suspicious that early - but they sure can

Had I not seen him like that before, I would have freaked out, but a few hours after this, he could walk fairly straight. And he certainly had an appetite!

I did ask the vet to give him as little as possible, and I asked if he could give him something that wore off quicker - he said he would. But this time I came to take him home quicker, so that's why he was still so affected.

Today, it's like he's forgotten all about it and he seems quite happy and is demanding as usual.

Barbara, I thought you (and others) would be able to view the video, since I uploaded to Photobucket, but that's obviously not the case. I'm going to try as an mpg-4.

    Hi Randi and Fister,

Poor Fister all woozie and wobbly. Eve was exactly the same after her dental. We had to follow her everywhere to make sure she didn't fall down the stairs

I'm glad that he is feeling better and I'm sure today is a much better day

    Hugs to both, Betty
