"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas

I'll bet anything that none of her dogs ever played with Riley! They look at Pippi and especially Tucker like what are you aliens thinking - we don't get small dogs. Guess you should have borrowed Tucker - he would have kept Riley busy. Was Riley a lap dog at all? How did your 3 handle that?
"That they may have a little peace, even the best
dogs are compelled to snarl occasionally."
--William Feather
For the post part, the dogs never really played with him. Spot thought about, and barked at him like he wanted to play....but they just never quite got there.
Riley wasn't a huge lap dog, although one of the picture I posted is is up on Ralph's lap. The dogs didn't seem to be jealous of him. They didn't run from him, or put about having him...they would sniff him and that was it.
Ooh Riley is adorable. And your girls really do have great smiles.I really like the last four pictures, what cuties.
