    Ha! That's great. We have can access ours remotely, but I don't think I would have thought to do it in that situation. Justin uses it to access work files off his desktop when he's on his laptop. We keep all our pictures on Justin's desktop so I use it on my laptop to access iPhoto on his desktop.

    I think it is so cool that they caught the thief like that! Just imagine how surpried he was when they showed up at his door!

    There are programs you can get for Windows that does the same thing, yes. It's called Remote Desktop or something similar that allows you to access your desktop from any computer, so long as both machines have the program installed and running.
