I am so sorry. I have been through exactly what you went through. My mom and I were up in the wee hours of the morning crying over a teeny kitten as it went to the bridge. It is something you NEVER forget. But you must find peace in the fact that he is pain free now and playing with all the other kittens (including the one my mom and I handled) up at the bridge.
