I am so sorry. I have been through exactly what you went through. My mom and I were up in the wee hours of the morning crying over a teeny kitten as it went to the bridge. It is something you NEVER forget. But you must find peace in the fact that he is pain free now and playing with all the other kittens (including the one my mom and I handled) up at the bridge.

My husband just walked in and I told him that Little Trooper had died. I had been telling him about his fight for life earlier in the day. We are both so sorry.

I am so sorry...you did everything you humanly could do. We all know this pain is the downside to the love we give our animals but we all do it anyway because the good outweighs the bad...but it still sucks everytime!

I was just devastated when I seen Troopers name in memorial. If only prayers and love could have brought him through he would be still here.

You did everything you could for him Kim and more. He wasn't meant for this cruel world but he knew love and kindness in his short time. You truly are a godsend to these babies and their momma's. I don't think I could do it. I wouldn't have a heart left. You are stronger than many and you do everything to help. You are a very special lady. Thank you for caring for little Trooper and all the others you have cared for over the years.


Go with God baby Trooper. There must be a vary special job waiting for you at RB. No more pain little one. You are a perfect little miracle angel. Rest in Peace.
