    Yay, it's May! But according to the meteorologists we are supposed to get an April shower tomorrow. :|

    Oh my....
    It is May and I want to make everyone Mint Juleps.....You know that Saturday is the Kentucky Derby (horses 7 and 9) and I figured that MJs would be appropriate!

    Hey, our daffodils and tulips are just blossoming up here - the hundreds of bulbs we planted in the church lawn last fall are in full, spectacular bloom! My peonies are only 6-inch-high sprouts at this point, and the lilacs just have dark, tiny, closed buds at this point - looking like miniature grape clusters.

    So I'll have tea, please, my new rediscovered favorite is Ginger Peach Tea from the Republic of Tea - yummy stuff! I'll make a big pot to share if anyone else's Spring is still on the chilly side!
