Anyone started, or reading, the Immortal Instruments series yes? City of Bones was out first, City of Ashes is 2nd, and City of Glass comes out in March 2009. It's also a dark fantasy, involving vampire, werewolves, warlock and all to a lesser extent, and not as friendly, and kids who are called Shadow Hunters, and are hunting the Downworlders (vamps, wolves, daemons....). It's got a lot of history in it, and you can see how they weave in the "golden cup/chalice" like in Arthurian legends. It's got romance in it, and it is tense at times, it's not a steamy or whatever as Twilight is, nor is there that animal attration that there seems to be there, but it City of Bones was good once I got into it. Going to pick up City of Ashes this week.
