I am sure it was embarrassing at the time, but it sounds like you have a reason to be a proud doggie mom. First, they got tangled in their leashes because they were happy and excited to be meeting someone new, good pups. Second, Smokey ran to the door and sat down to wait for you? Doubley good pup. And to remain graceful while entangled in 100 pounds of combined dog fur is not an easy feat. Yep, I think after icing your knee you should give yourself a big pat on the back for being such a good dog mom.
