Aww Kim! That is terriable and I know you are miserable. Good thoughts and wishes are coming your way from the south. Take it easy and give them time to heal. Get plenty of purr therapy to help you heal. ((((HUGS))))))

Well, Pam, you were right about the rolling chair! I was rolling around in the living room, trying to straighten up a bit and leaned sideways over the coffee table to grab a napkin. While stretched at full reach and leaning sideways, my chair slid out from under me. I scraped my side on the table and landed rather harshly on my bottom. After that I went to bed with new sore muscles in my back. I think someone needs to tie me to the bed.

Thankfully, hubby will be home this weekend to be my 'legs'. I have an appointment with an orthopedic on Tuesday. I just want to get a specialist to look things over and nip any issues in the bud right away this time.
Thank you all for all the nice comments ... they are much appreciated!!!![]()

Oh Kim!!! I bet the whole time you were reaching for that napkin a little voice inside your head was saying "don't do it!"Originally Posted by kimlovescats

I hope you aren't too sore this morning. (((hugs)))
Did you experience it in slow motion? Years ago, I was walking up a steep flight of stairs in a house that was built in 1865 and my (then) husband and I were restoring it. In the 1800's, nothing was true to size or form and the staircase was winding, too. As I got to the top, I reached for a stupid piece of lint that was on the hall runner and I somehow pitched backwards and went down the stairs. It all happened in slow motion and it seemed to keep me from getting injured. I know that sounds weird but it's true. You must have just gone "thump!"
Blessings,
Mary
