Thanks so much for keeping up with this guys! I am on a business trip and just now got access to the net for a couple minutes.
Saidiebug is safe at home now. Thank GOODNESS!!!
I am so relieved!!
And I told my mother that if she decides to bail on the dog in the future to send her to ME not the POUND!!
Phred, were you going to get her as a friend for Cinder and Smoke and you? She may still need someone. No offense to Emms, but if her mom disliked her enough to take her to the pound on Friday, then I'm unsure what has changed so much in 4 days except that she felt guilty. Perhaps it would be comforting to Emms if she knew the pup could be placed outside of her mother's home.
Emms, you can comment on that and I'll shut up now.I'm happy she is out of there.

I'm *way too old* to be adding permanent residents to the FurFamily ...
short-term "visitors" are still possible if/when a need arises.
Rhapsody seemed in need and close enough to get involved - IF required.
Luckily, her problem seems to have been resolved without a Rescue Run in the Bus!

You always come through. What a champ you are!!!!
Just knowing you were up to the task for the short term is reassuring.

Just saw this story today, I'm glad she was able to get Rhapsody back. My experiences with the Findlay Humane society were always positive - they are a dog-loving group there. Rhapsody was probably still "in quarantine", as they keep them separate for almost a week before putting them up for adoption.
Emms, if you see this, where in RI are you? I moved to RI near Newport from Findlay last year.![]()
I'm a little late, but I am soooo surprised to see how popular findlay is on here. Lol I go to school and have an apartment there. I was even thinking about going out to the humane society and finding Rhaposdy. I felt really bad. Lol I am currently near cleveland for the summer, so I could have kept her at my parents house while someone tried to find a home for her. But I'm glad that she's safe. Yay! I hope we see her on Memorial day weekend!!
Monica Callahan KPA-CTP *Woohoo!*
Emms,
I just joined this list and saw your post, so I see that your parents were able to get their dog back from the pound. I'm glad to hear that! I live in Findlay, if you ever need any help with a situation I'd be happy to help if I could. my email is [email protected]
We're crazy for dogs too, we have 4 english setters (3 have been rescues)
