Yes sometimes it works out with 2 but usually 2 will rip each other apart. The best way is to have at least four to spread out the aggression. Also the tank needs to have lots and lots of hiding places for them to get away from each other if needed.

Just making sure.I haven't tried a sorority myself yet but i'm going to try one soon. I have 2 females now and I'm getting 2 more in the mail next week so I think I will try it out with them.

I would never attempt less then four females together. I had 8 girls together very well in a well planted 20 gallon. Only two are left now but I am getting guppies soon =)
