When I got Cocoa he didn't like to be picked up that much, but now he likes to be picked up and hugged. He will even come over and request it.

There's that beautiful little Quinn!!! She just gets prettier every day! Yep, I hug kitties and doggies every day ... and those pictures are PRECIOUS! I sure would like a hug from Quinn too! Please pass one on to her for me!

I hug Mitzi every day, even though she protests when I do it. She's just too darned cute and little and squishable not to hug

My day just wouldn't be complete without a hugfest with Groucho. Every morning when I'm getting ready for work or on Sunday getting ready for church, Groucho joins me in the bathroom. He sits on the toilet seat and talks non-stop demanding head scritchies. After a few minutes Groucho climbs up on the sink, puts his paws on my shoulder and that's my cue to pick him up for huggies. He purrs the entire time while giving me lots of headbumpies and kitty kisses. There have been mornings when I get to work a little bit late because of our morning ritual but it's so worth it. Because of what we do, my office is a pressure cooker on a slow day and they're few and far between. My job demands 175% concentration and focus so there are days I come home mentally exhausted. My sweet Groucho is always at the door waiting for me. As soon as I flop down on the sofa, Groucho is right up there with me talking about his day while again being generous with the kissies and headbumpies. Then we both settle in for an extended snugglefest and he makes everything right in my world. I love my little guy more than I could ever begin to tell you about
