Thanks so much for rescuing another beautiful animal. If you saw Oprah's recent show on puppy mills you know that so many cats and dogs never have a second chance at love and a family due to people not sterilizing or due to having weak laws (or none) prohibiting puppy mills.
Speaking of Oprah, when I saw the second picture of Ophelia I have to say I was worried. Oprah lost one of her beloved Goldens last summer when she swallowed a ball (http://www.people.com/people/article...046895,00.html) so please, everyone, be careful.
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.
