Thanks, Val for being with that wee one to the end. I am sure it was hard for you. But that little one did not ask for the house he landed in, or to be hit by a car and die so young. He knew someone was with him to the end, and that is a blessing.

How horribly tragic.I know that will haunt you for a long time. But you are an angel for stopping and being with this poor pup in his last few moments. Bless you.

I have been frosted!
Thanks Kfamr for the signature!
OMG that is so sad! Thank you for having such a kind spirit and for being 'the person who stopped'. So many people think 'someone will stop' and they drive on. Thanks for being with him for his final moments.![]()
As the others have said, thank you for not only stopping, but staying by him until he left for The Rainbow Bridge.
I've Been Frosted

That's what upset me, too. Here I am crying over the poor dog and the owners didn't even care. They didn't even use care when removing him from the roadOriginally Posted by Freedom

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
