Betta owners..

I had my first betta long time ago when I was a kid.

the first betta I have as an adult is Max, a red veiltail.
I am thinking of adding a second betta which will probably be a yellow one.

My first i got a few years ago, he was only with me for about 2 months when he got sick and died RIP Daffyd.

My little dude i have at the moment i have had about 5 months, he is doing great. He has a baby snail as a friend and is quite happy.

I have 8 bettas right now...but have owned 10 of them. I swear I do not have the betta bug.
*Flame-My first betta I got the end of November from petsmart he is a purple veiltail combtail.


*Steel-My second betta I got from walmart in a nasty nasty cup he is a steel blue veiltail


*Luna-3rd betta but sadly lost to dropsy about 2 months ago she was a pastel colored veiltail.


*Comet-4th betta he is a red with green butterfly markings veiltail


*Mango-my 5th betta he is a yellow betta. I was so exited when I found him!


*Zack-he was a lavender copper marble halfmoon plakat. Sadly he found a small hole in the top of his tank and jumped out. Thankfully I have 3 healthy 5 week old fry from him.


*Kendall-zack's mate she is a red copper marble halfmoon plakat who lives in a 2.5 gallon tank with my african dwarf frog.


*Carly-light yellow with blue butterfly markings she is gorgeous and a veiltail


*Aiden-he is a lighter steel blue than steel and has a turquoise head I got him from a mall pet shop about 2 weeks ago he has ripped fins. He is a combtail veiltail.

*My newest I have had for 3 days is Jackson he has an orange body with purple and orange fins. He is gorgeous and I found him at petsmart and just had to have him. Pictures aren't realy true to his real life color.

Well I haven't got a Betta yet but I have been looking really hard and have been thinking about getting a gold fish starter tank with ari filter and water filter. It will be about 2 gallons or bigger. I talked to a guy at this exotic fish and pet shop and he said they can put a order for a crowntail for me. I looked a Petsmart but all of the crowntail bettas are red and blue colors not I kinda like the green mixes. I work as a Server so I have to wait after Sunday to purchase the tank I want and then have the guy put in my order for a crowntail. I think their bettas are cheaper than petsmart but if they aren't I still know I'm probably getting a better fish since they seem to keep them in large tanks with more othe co-existing fishes and look much happier.
