Ummm, I wonder who they might vote for?
Wasn't the DMB the group that emptied the waste tanks off the bridge onto the sight seeing boat?

I think pitching to the audience is as old as representative politics itself. The candidate has to market him/herself, after all.

Yes, but in these days of more info across the wires you'd think that people would pay more attention to the messenger, as opposed to the message.

Anybody want to volunteer? You just have to be a "typical white person"
    to get in. Geeze.

    "We Need More White People"
    April 09, 2008 8:47 AM

At a Michelle Obama event, reporters from the Carnegie-Mellon University student newspaper "observed one event coordinator say to another, 'Get me more white people, we need more white people.' To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, 'We're moving you, sorry. It's going to look so pretty, though.'

"'I didn't know they would say, "We need a white person here,"' said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. 'I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn't know it would be so outright.'"

(For those who would criticize this blog for relying on a college newspaper, please recall how much the Obama campaign in its TV ads relied upon the support for his health care plan by the college newspaper the Daily Iowan.)

In any case, that Michelle Obama advance staffer just summed up the candidate's issues in Pennsylvania. They do, indeed, need more white people.

Here's how to pick a candidate.

Start from last year, about July, do some research - check out what they say and what they believe.

Fast forward to the day you look and see how much they have changed their tune!

I saw a report where BO is starting to conjure up God, Country and Apple Pie during his recent speeches.

Did anyone catch the Saturday Night Live skit about BO? I saw part of it and they got the "UM' and stuttering down pat. Just today a news talking head made light of his "UM" too.

My other peeve is about his handlers-they jump into the fray as BO's mouthpiece- They issue HIS statements. You know, He does remind me of Jerry Mahoney.

    ------------------

HC is a little more subdued now. She don't screech as much and just cruises along....I kinda liked the animated HC, she was just more human?

    ------------

Now, we get to JM......ah, can you say boring.....well, Monochrome, at the very least...
