I didn't see this thread yesterday and so neither did Christy. The kids were awfully energetic yesterday and so I don't think she had a really great day until of course, I got home and brought sunshine and love. Okay, maybe not. Although the sun did come out and Carl was trying to take credit that it was his birthday gift to her. We took her out to Red Lobster for dinner and the kids were really good so that made it nice for her. She hasn't been very helpful about what she wants for her birthday so I guess that will wait until this weekend. I did buy something for each kid to give her and birthday cards from each one. Jasmine can write her name now - although she sometimes writes it backwards - and she did last night but it's the thought that counts right? Because sissy was signing hers, Dominic wanted to sign his too. I can't see it looked anything liked Dominc and really looked like a bunch of scribbles. And he was very angry when I took it away because he wasn't done writing his sentiments. This weekend Amy and Ralph (and probably their 3 kids, furkids that is) will be coming down for the traditional home cooked your choice birthday meal with cake and ice cream.

Thanks everybody! As mom said, it was kind of a tough day with how wired the kids were. But we did have a great meal. Thanks again for all your thoughts though. It means more to me than you know.

I guess I missed this one, too. Well, I just had an appt. at the eye dr. for new glasses, so that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Many, many more happy birthdays to come, I'm sure. Happy Natal Return!
