Which AIRPORT depends upon where you'll be staying AND where the cheaper flights will
agree to land .... heck, there's a lil "airport" right in Findlay - but none of the Big Guy
airlines will land there.

Closest "major" ports are "Toledo" (TDZ) and "Toledo Express" (TOL) airports.

Next out is Port Columbus International (CMH) about 1.5 hours from Findlay.
Another is Dayton International (DAY) - possibly a little closer to Findlay than Columbus.

A "regional" airport that advetises heavily is "Akron/Canton Regional" (CAK) - located between
Akron and Canton - connects to a lot of larger airports; but it's 2+ Hours from Findlay.

Farthest out is probably Cleveland Hopkins International (CLE) - a little south-west
of the City, which is on Lake Erie.

I'd pick the destination airport based upon cheapness of the ticket - try Columbus, Toledo and
Dayton as the prime choices for pricing. Refer to MapQuest for maps of the area ... use >>>

to get a zoomed-in view of the Dog Park location (1/4 mile north of the *star*) --- then
zoom OUT to pick up the larger cities.

And don't forget to check on the need for a Passport to get into the good ole USA ...
the welcome mat has some fine print on it now.

Lastly ...
Are you SURE it's *worth it*?? ... It's a LOOONG way to go, at considerable $$$ expense,
for a 6-7 hour "picnic"!
