Exclamation In defense of ~The MENUE~

Once again I seem to have managed to *tweek off* the Multitudes ...
*Complaints & Suggestions* are pouring in regarding the inclusion of Past Dishes
    on this year's ~MENUE~.

    A typical note:

"Could you not list the dishes that people have brought before?
It makes people feel as though they HAVE to bring something off that list."

OK ... I COULD "not list the Past Dishes" ...
But I DO list 'em in order to try and answer the frequently asked questions:

    * WHAT should I bring
    * WHAT do you NEED

    NOTICE!!

The inclusion of Past Dishes in The MENUE -
is NOT, and never has been -
a demand, suggestion, hint, nor pleading to ANY Pik-Nik-ers that
they have to nor should bring something on the "list".

Feel Most FREE to use you imaginations and/or personal desires when choosing
what you wish to contribute to the food offerings ...
If YOU like it (and can cook it or steal it) - bring it. I'll try almost ANYthing!

Stuff we've never had >>> (probably for good reasons )
    ** Alaskan Salmon
    ** Maine Lobsters
    ** T-bone Steaks
    ** Lobster Salad
    ** Pizza
    ** Roast Turkey & Stuffing
    ** Bucket o' Klamz --- NO, I WON'T try them!
    ** Ice Cream Cones

If "Your Dish" isn't on the MENUE - ADD IT IN!!

Phred I see Lobster Salad and Pizza...how about Lobster Pizza?! We have that at my work Oh, on second thought I don't think it'd warm up too good
I personally appreciate you posting the menu. I know we don't HAVE to bring what you have on it...I'd think that would be common sense

Thanks for the kind offer, Grace - But it's just easier if I do it myself ...
Been doin it so long, I keep "extras" on hand all the time ...
The hard part is to not forget anything when I'm packing the coolers!

And since the Gathurin hardly puts a dent in anything, I just toss it all in my fridge
when we get home and use it till it's gone. No fuss, no bother, and little expense.

Just pick a Favorite Dish and bring that - we all like *Mystery Dishes*!

I did sign up for one dish, and planned another, but someone else got there first. I'll figure out something else.

One other thing - I asked Shais Mom about borrowing a dog as we are dogless. We can bring references.

    We can *make a deal*!

I've got two - who really don't like to be split up!
And they're WELL known to raise a royal **phuss** when "abandoned" by Dad
whilst he assists Chef LeCarl with the cooking chores ...

    They're YOURS!

One for each of us - you have a deal!! I'll bring some special treats just for them, along with a big bag for all the others.

Hey, Phred, that is mostly what I know how to cook and I don't mean that in a good way

I hope I will get to come -- I'll be another "dogless" -- and I will try to think of something that will travel very well, i.e., not from my kitchen!
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
