I always loved seeing pictures of Snoopy. Such an adorable chap. I'm a sucker for spots. I've a feeling based on that infectious spotty grin he has, that he and Murpher are bound to hook up in Heaven and then spread a bunch of sunshine around the place. Rest in Peace, Snoopy.

    RIP Snoopy

Diana I'm sorry I haven't posted yet, but I couldn't keep from crying every time I thought of him.
Now that I have, I want to let you know that Snoopy was one of my favorites at the park. He'd stand there and just let me love on him. Just like in this picture Robin took...

He was a very special boy and I will miss him dearly.

Stopping by to let you know I'm thinking of you and your family. LES bigtime. That pic of you with Snoopy made me lose it. I'm so sorry. There are many here that know your pain. Don't hesitate to contact any of us if you need to talk. Sending love from Florida.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Play hard at the bridge, Snoopy.

I am so sorry, Diana. Snoopy was a beautiful dog, who was obviously loved, and gave back so much love in return. The pictures of you two together at the Vet just broke my heart... that must have been one of the hardest decisions of your life, but it was the best you could have made. Snoopy is pain-free and happy now.

It has been very hard for me to even think about preparing this post. I want those of you who did not know Snoopy when he was a pup and well to get to know him from the beginning. He hasn't always had seizures - I think the first one was when he was about 2/1/2. Anyway....

In September of 2002, Amy (my daughter, Cincy's mom) called and told me that she had seen the cutest puppy at a rescue group when she was at a pet store where she lives in Toledo. He was a Dalmation mix. Since both Amy and I both love Dalmations, I had to get on Petfinder and see him. I called to see if he was still available and he was largely because he wasn't a little puppy any more but about 6 months old. To make a long story short, we went over to "see" him and the rest is history. I can still remember our ride home - Snoopy was a very hyper dog so I set in the back seat with him and he just laid at my side. Snoopy was our 4th dog and when I told my parents, I told my dad I had gotten Taggert a "toy" and showed him a picture of Snoops. He looked at me like I was nuts but it was the best thing I did for the both of them. They were buds from the get go. We finally found a way to wear Taggert out. But we had a new problem - who was going to wear Snoopy out???

Here are some of our first pictures of Snoopy

Here is Staci meeting him for the first time at the Findlay Dog Park - and the beginning of his picnic table top favorite spot.

    He was so darn cute

When we first got Snoopy, I was not working so I took the dogs to one of the dog parks almost every day. Sometimes for a variety we took them to the Bowling green Dog Park because it had agility equipment and it didn't get as muddy as Findlays. Snoopy loved the agility equipment.

    Snoopy loved the snow

I was surprised to find this one of his playing with Miss Huney

    Is the food ready yet?

He loved to greet everyone coming to the dogpark

    ON top of the table

Under the table- It was just great to be at the dog Park!

Ohhh Diana, you got a couple pics of me and Snoopy. Thank you!

Today it has actually helped me to see all the pictures. They are great Diana. That last pic that you posted is the best and you should have it framed.
    This one:

I'm going to miss him so much at the dog park. I know he is happy now and there is no longer any confusion for him and no more seizures, but I sure am going to miss him. Ok, I'm crying again.
