If you use a small serrated knife (like the one Phred showed) it's very easy to cut the sections out, use the spoon to squeeze out the juice after you eat the sections. mmmmmm

    You all were very close.....

The parts of the GF that are the bitterest are the rind and the skin on the sections.

If you have the desire peel it, then remove the skin.
    Not as bitter maybe better?

ROOM TEMPERATURE - makes the grapefruit MUCH sweeter. The pink/ruby red I really love but will peel and eat all types.

hmmm....off to the grocery store tomorrow...I forgot to pick up, er, BLEACH, yeah that's right!

I grew up eating grapefruit with sugar on top but now I prefer to eat it plain. I also like grapfruit juice too.

I had a pink grapefruit with grilled sugar on top today- after this thread I really had to get it.
We should get money from the grapefruit farmers.
