Sorry for not updating, the vet called us yesterday. The results from the tests he sent out showed the same thing -- something wrong with her liver. We are still unsure whether it's cancer, bacteria, toxins etc because to find out would involve exploratory surgery or waiting it out. We've switched her food to Innova Evo and she's getting plenty of canned food as well. Adding in sardines and we're on the search for milk thistle. My mom should be picking up some antibiotics from the vet today.

She's eating better and keeping it down, which is a good thing. But she's having more difficulty walking. We have to help her up and outside and she can't get on or off the couch by herself. It was just her having trouble with her back legs, but now she's walking with a slight limp and walks very unsteadily.

We're taking it a day at a time now, she still is her usual happy self. The other day we helped her get to the basement (her favorite place to be) and while we were eating dinner she made it upstairs to beg.

I'm glad she's eating better, hope that means she may be starting to feel better. I hope the new food and the supplements help her!

I really hope things keep on improving for sweet, gorgeous Shadow. she is one of my favorite pups here. (((HUGS))) you and Shadow will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Lots of prayers and positive thoughts for shadow, I am so glad to hear that she is able to eat and keep it down, and hopefully whatever is going on with her liver is something the anitbiotics and supplements will take care of.
