My grandpa is back in the hospital - complaining of dizziness and shortness of breath.. and his O2 level has been up & down all night... and turning blue off and on..
I am scared.

Just to wrap up on Mac....An AC officer was here tonight. Gave me a ticket for 200 dollars, for allowing my dog to bite a person. As soon as I pay the ticket, Mac is deemed a dangerous dog. He gave me a notice about that and all the restrictions it will place on Mac. He told me to hold off on paying for a few days as he's been told his boss is going to vary a few of the conditions--like needing a pen with a roof and hopefully find a way to allow Mac to still run in the team. I'd really like to get out of the tattooing requirement. The by-law says he has to have his ear or flank tattooed within 15 days of the designation. He's already microchipped, but I"m not sure that will be good enough.

Well, gosh ....I guess the AC guys have to follow the laws, or the other side would be really upset and maybe make things worse...but thank God the boss is trying to change some of the conditions.
Also - is the DD for life? Or if Mac doesn't mistake another kid for a huge stuffy in 5 years, is it removed?
HUGS and PRAYERS that all turns out well! At least you will have your Mac alive - and hopefully running with the team again.![]()

And what happened to those people for allowing their dog to bite yours? Oh, never mind, probably "nothing", right? Really sorry to hear Mac's sentence, but at least you weren't required to put him down- that would have been awful. (I know that if you believed Mac was a real threat to anyone, you would, no matter how painful it was to do.) You are so good with your dogs, I'm sure Mac will continue to have a quality life in your care.Originally Posted by Glacier
