She's home. He wants to see her again tomorrow.
He had some of the blood results, the rest he sent out and we'll know more tomorrow. Normal liver count is supposed to be between 80-150, hers was 1489. He didn't really want to say anymore until he gets the results back tomorrow. But what he said today is basically her liver isn't functioning properly (obviously) and the best we can do for now is to support her until we know more.
Elevated counts may be due to viral or bacterial infection, parasites, cancer, inflammation, obstructive bile duct disease, toxic reactions, or from some medications.
