Sorry for being so slow! Anna, the ones you're using sound like a good deal. We're using AA rechargeables NiMH, I have no idea what they cost in USA, but they're pretty expensive here (half as much again as the ones you're using) - then if you have two sets, there's no problem should they run out. Using the display a lot eats batteries like it was chocolate and the zoom too.

Take a look here and see if you can find your camera, it will tell you which ones you can use.
