What a beautiful boy you are Ben - and I am so happy that now you will be safe and warm. Sadly alot of people who adopt your brothers and sisters still think it is okay to let their cats outside alone and unprotected, although they would never do the same thing to a dog. It boggles the mind doesn't it Ben. Unfortunately the world is now a scary place for little animals like you, between speeding cars, the weather, predator animals, and some very nasty people. Hopefully one day people will realize that sometimes the popular saying isn't true - when you love something (like a pussycat), you don't set it free because it just may not come back to you (through no fault of its own).

The overcrowded shelters are killing animals at alarming rates due to the selfishness of the public - STERILIZE YOUR PETS!!!!
Please have your pets sterilized as soon as possible to lower, and one day hopefully eliminate, unwanted and abandoned pets. It IS our responsibility. Adopting from a shelter also helps - encouraging breeders just adds to the overpopulation.
