Dear Tonya,
I am so very sorry to hear about Miz Sophie. She was a very special part of all our lives thanks to the wonderful stories you have shared with us over the years. I can picture her giving her "THUMPZ" and demanding parsley. I can see her giving you bunny kisses and snuggling up with you.

I wish there was some way I could take the pain and loneliness away that you are feeling right now. I have been there and know how you feel like your whole world seems so empty now. Nothing I can say can make that go away but it is encouraging to know that in time the memories become sweeter again and the pain becomes less. You are a changed person because of the special love that a special bunny has shared with you. You are a richer person for being loved and loving one of God's creations so unconditionally. I can only imagine that there was a special reason God chose this time to take your much cherished loved one. I can see the angels all fussing over her right now.




As for Pet Talk, take the time you need to grieve but remember that we all love you and want you to stay part of this caring community. In your heart you are a pet lover and that is what Pet Talk is all about. You have a lot to contribute to others who come into this world of sharing their love of animals. You know our pets as well as we knew yours and you are a part of their lives now. It would be an empty place if we never heard from you. And then.... on a magical day when the time is right, you will once again have another pet to share with all of us and we will all rejoice with you.
