Well, 42 hours with no power is NOT fun

I would have never made it as a pioneer woman either. I like my power and running water!

I have lots of pictures to share. I'm uploading them now but it will be later when I'm able to post them. I still have things to do around the house now that I have running water and unfortunately have to work all day today.

Make that hot water for me please. We had no power several weeks ago for about 4 hours and I was ready to throw in the towel and head for a hotel. In my mind if you *made it* for 42 hours, that constitutes Pioneer Woman.

Anna I am glad you are up and running. We usually have power outtages in the summer months after a thunderstorm. My first worry is always for the refrigerator and freezer and all of the food that might go bad. I imagine you could have just taken your food outside.

Of course no running water is horrible to contemplate. I imagine that means you can't "flush?"
