I think its absolutely stupid that the kids had to "watch". Why did no one call when they saw the huge snake in the first place? I tell you what if I saw a 16 foot snake in MY house I'd be calling someone to remove it back to where it belongs LONG before it went after anything. I don't care if it "disapeared" its a 16 foot long snake for crying out loud. A little investigation would have revealed its whereabouts I'm sure. Why would you assume the snake was gone if it was seen "stalking" the dog? The food item didn't go away, why would the snake?
