Not sure you spelled that correctly - I found:

Pyoderma literally means “pus in the skin” and can be caused by infectious, inflammatory,
and/or neoplastic etiologies; any condition that results in the accumulation of neutrophilic exudate
can be termed a pyoderma.
Most commonly, however, pyoderma refers to bacterial infections of the skin.

“Hot spots” are also known as “acute moist pyoderma”.
What that means is that they are rapidly appearing, oozing, skin infections.

Should be treatable by a good Vet.

Oops..Thanks as always Phred..yeah, I spelt it wrong..right after seeing in written down.
It's also called "Puppy Strangles". Her eyes were oozing green pus, and she had a lot of blisters all over her snout and under her chin. She's on prednisone, antibiotics and eye cream. The vet they saw said it can come back, as it may be caused by a faulty immune system. No way to know yet.

Awe.... poor little things!!! That has got to be painful, and the little guys have no way of knowing life isn't supposed to be that unhappy and hurting.

I hope that the vet is able to get them all better, and that the ones that went to the shelter will be able to get good homes and great vet care.

Just makes you wonder why things happen to the most innocent.

The little bugger is definitely staying where she is and is very happy and active. I haven't spoken to my ex-SIL in the last few days..I'm almost afraid to..so I don't know if the other puppies have been taken to the SPCA yet.
