aly, I found her on petfinder.org and she was with the Highland Lakes SPCA in Marble Falls. That's why you couldn't remember her.
Susie is a hound or pointer mix. She has a great sense of smell, and she likes to sleep in her spare time, which they tell me is typical of a hound.She might have a tiny bit of blue heeler in her based on her coat, but she really doesn't look at all like a cattle dog. Here's a pic (also my avatar):
