Maybe she has no sense of smell? Anyway, it is good you got the poor kitty out of there. Kudos to her for rescuing him from the taunting boys in the first place, but she'll need more education before she ever becomes a cat owner again.

Poor Larry... . It's sad that an animal has to suffer because of a stupid human. Thankfully he is in good hands now and will find a furrever home soon.

    How is he doing??

I feel sorry for the poor cat but glad that you took action, Donna. He stands a good chance now of finding a permanent home w/someone responsible. Bless you!

Thank you a million times for helping poor Larry! That woman did the right thing by saving him from being brutalized by those brats but it's too bad she wouldn't listen to those of you that offered experienced help and advice. Larry deserves much better care than he received from her and thanks to you he'll have a chance for a life full of love and caring in a good furever home.
Groucho is sending you lots of purrs, headbumpies and kitty kisses to say thank you for caring enough to help his fellow kitty in need!

This is so sad. Donna, I'm so glad that you were able to get him the help that he needed. I sure hope that he'll make a full recovery and that he'll find the right forever loving home this time.

I'll never understand people that have animals that need help and they do nothing about it. If they can't afford to get them help then they should call some one for help. She should have let you know about this a long time ago.

I spoke with my friend Chris this morning and Larry, now known as Buster, is doing wonderfully!! He's been neutered and on antibiotics for his UTI. She's having him tested for Diabetes because he's drinking alot of water. The better news is he's stopped spraying.

As much as I like Barbara, she's an idiot when it comes to animals. She wants to get ANOTHER cat. I ripped into her. I emphasized how sick Buster was and the cost of the vet bill and hospital stay alone costs. I told her that because she doesn't drive, if something bad happened to her pet at say 3 a.m., what would she do. Her answer, "I'd call someone and have them come out." I told her vets don't make house calls. I'm really angry at not only her stupdity, but the fact that she wants another cat!!!!!!! I told her she'd be better off with fish. She said she killed the goldfish she used to have. I told her she almost killed the cat she had too for not getting him to a vet fast enough. UGH!!!!! Now she won't talk to me. Good, now she won't bug me for another cat.

Anyway, Chris is keeping Buster. He's a wonderful cat, very affectionate, laid back and mellow. He's in a better home now where he'll be cared for properly.
