I love Pet Talk! Thank you to each and everyone of my Pet Talk Family. You all have been so super supportive and with your help I know I can overcome all of this.

Like I was telling Anna and my surrogate hubby, Mark last night the past 3-4 weeks have been extremely difficult and scary. I have struggled a lot in the past year but the past few weeks have been the worst and I don't even really know who the person I had become was. I never ever want to go back to that dark place again. With a lot of professional help and the support and love of my son, parents, my best friend Anna and her husband Mark, my wonderful friend Norma and my soon to be ex sister-in-law, Linda (she will always be my sister) and from you,my wonderful Pet Talk Family and Friends I feel as if I am finally seeing some light and recognize how truly lucky and blessed I am to have so many wonderful and caring people in my life, real and cyber . I have received so many wonderful cards and gifts from so many of you and I can't thank you enough!

Recently I received a wonderful huge photo from Anna that I am going to have framed and hung on the wall. It is a group snapshot of my wonderful friends from PT and in real life from when we were last together at Anna's house. I love ya, Anna! Thank you so much for the great reminder that I have FRIENDS.

A few days ago I received a super nice gift card to Complete Petmart (which is the only place that I am able to buy picky Katie's food) from Phred, Staci, Tonya, Gini and Amy & Ralph. The same day the gift card came I received a coupon from the same store for the Eagle Pack food that I buy. So with the gift card and coupon I will be able to buy a month's supply of food or more for my girls!! OMG..you have no idea how much that means to me and my girls! Thank you all so much!!!!

Thank you for starting this thread for me Phred. Thank you to everyone who has posted with all of your caring words. You have caused me many LES moments, smiles and giggles. I read it every day and sometimes more than once so I can remember that there are lots of wonderful freinds who care about me and that I have a lot to look forward to in my future and new life. LIKE meeting all of you !

Sorry if I sound emotional and corny but I just had to let you know how much you all mean to me.

One more thing! While I was in the hospital a social worker talked to me and recommended me for some kind of program for crazy displaced housewives like myself. I can't remember what the program is called. I think it is a state run program. I have my orientation on the 28th and I think I take some kind of classes and they also help find work for you. My therapist says it is a very good program. That gives me a week to still recover and make sure that I have my head on straight and then I can get serious about finding a job! I'm looking forward to that new adventure and I might even take some kind of classes at our local vocational school. I just can't decide what I want to be when I grow up

AND yes, I'm up early. I woke up coughing again. I'm so tired of this stupid cold or whatever it is but I'm not going to let it get me down!

I enjoyed reading your last two posts. I saw all of your posts in dog general that were made in the early hours of the morning and I was concerned. I am sorry that your cold had you up early, but I am glad to hear that is was "only" your cold and not anything else. I am so happy to hear that you are looking forward to your new adventure, we will all enjoy going on that adventure with you (don't forget we will be along with you wherever you go).

Sorry that cough has you up again, maybe try sleeping in your chair. I know I slept in my chair for many nights because every time I'd lay down I'd start coughing

I love talking to you and hearing you sound so positive. It really makes me happy to know you've had 3 good days in a row I know there are many more to come!
I'm also happy you've finally realized that you have SO many friends who care about you.

Robin I have LES reading through your last two posts. We knew you could overcome this and now I can tell that you know it too! I'm sure there will still be some cr@p ahead to deal with as the divorce proceedings continue but we will all be here with you to listen to your venting, should you feel like venting, and encourage you along the way! I know that some day you will look back on all of this and think of it as the period of time when you saw an open door and walked right through it to a brand new life. ((((Hugs)))) to you girl! You are an inspiration to so many of us.
