Barry, it sounds like your weather was similar to what we had here in Chicago. It has rained all day and switched over to sleet just over the past couple of hours. We're supposed to get snow after the sleet. Is Taffy with you while her people are on vacation?

Fritz, I think you have the right idea -- stay near to your person and keep warm!

Fritz with Mom this morning in the chair,having a big yawn and Taffy with her head on the pillow.They get along pretty good,both had a bit of our supper peal Bacon and Beans,had some rolls with Garlic in it,had some of those too.Behaved while I was at the game ,both went out.Fritz wouldn't go to bed until he had a dish of water,he was out in the kitchen growling,I filled the dish and took him to bed while Taffy stayed out in the livingroom to sleep.She came once to Mom,didn't stay.Fritz had his breakfast from me, and mom,was up with Mom and Taffy was on the couch snoozing.Marlene phoned after got through security at the airport,Flight was to leave at 4:45 Sunday,was delayed one to 5:05 and again until 5:17 due to fog.According to the Airline ,Skyservice they arrived in Nassau at 8:30 last night.Marlene may phone later on.Taffy made one boo-boo this morning,piddled on the carpet,Mom wasn't happy with her,she had been sleeping on Mom's bed,of course i only found it when I stepped in it and got a wet sock.37 degrees now and getting colder with a strong breeze,wind warning in place around her and other places.A trace of snow overnight into Tuesday nothing to worry about.

Hello today, Fritz and hello again, Taffy!

Two closeup shots of Fritz on the couch yesterday.I was at least 10 feet from when I took it,I used the zoom on the camera for full effect.Marlene called yesterday around 5,having a good time,have been to the beach,were having supper later.it turned out the reason they were late taking off was the plane that was taking them was later arriving and the flight crew that was flying them down were also waiting and they were a half hour waiting for the plane to be refueled and ready to go.Larry's Brother-In-Law Al slept the whole way down,didn't want to look out the window.Mom thinks she will call tomorrow night and they leave down there Thursday morning at 10:35 and arrive in Toronto at 1:50.The dogs have been pretty good,Taffy made a boo-boo down here this morning,pooped on the carpet,Mom and I weren't happy with that.Had chicken breast for supper,Fritz cleaned my plate,Taffy had a little from Mom but got in a little hurry for it and didn't get any more.had banana cake for dessert,Fritz cleaned the plate up.At one point yesterday,Taffy shove her water dish across the floor,it was empty and it was her way of saying she needed a fill up.Had to give Fritz a biscuit to get him to bed,after that he was fine.taffy gets a certain amount of biscuits in the morning and a Bacon strip,Fritz had a Bacon strip also,also had toast and cereal.

Fritz and Taffy being lazy this morning,Fritz,Taffy and Mom on the couch Tuesday afternoon and Mom and Fritz Tuesday afternoon.We had chicken yesterday and a Potato/Turnip mix that Mom fried up and Banana cake for dessert,Fritz had a little,so did Taffy.A couple of times Taffy looked out the front window looking out,she is kind of lonesome for Marlene and Larry,she is restless at night,a long time to settle down.She finally settled down on the couch and Fritz underneath the little couch.She drinks a lot of water,takes pills and she pants a lot ,maybe trouble with her heart,she is 10 years old.She slept on the living room couch last night, Fritz with me.Fritz has his breakfast with me,Taffy had her morning treat of biscuits and a Bacon strip.She is laying on the couch now and Fritz in Mom's chair.Marlene will probably call tonight before they come home tomorrow.Weather not so great there today,thunderstorms and 75,feeling like 93.

Fritz napping in the chair today.I was standing in front of the dining room table and used the zoom on the camera at full zoom to get this picture,it looks like I was standing in front of him.We had Macaroni and Garlic country buns for supper and Banana cake.Fritz had a little of the buns and Macaroni,Taffy the buns also had some cake.Taffy is restless tonight,keeps looking out to the bar room and when she was outside,she looked at the gate,I think she is missing Marlene and Larry.Got a call from them tonight,Larry has blisters from too much sun,they got a few showers today.They got a note under the door for a wakeup call in the morning,not sure when they have to be at the airport.Taffy now in my chair,Fritz on the coffee table,he had been on the back of the chair ,raising a paw and tilting his head for some reason,probably to go upstairs.Fritz now on the back of the chair,Taffy standing and panting..Taffy has now got on the couch to stay I hope.

I can't believe the weather everybody is having. It is bizarre.

Great pictures, Barry. I love the closeups. It looks like Fritz is being a perfect gentleman to Taffy. Did I mention she looks pretty relaxed? Banana cake? That brings back memories of the cake my Mom used to get us from the bakery when we were kids. Yummy!! You're adorable, Fritzie!! So is Taffy!!
