I just love your gorgeous pups!![]()
Great photo of Heyoka & Pingo. I'm going to save that one, so the next time someone asks me about the difference between mals & sibes, they can see for themselves!
Aw, sounds like Pirate is soooo happy, whether Delta decided to accept her invitation or not.![]()
He's a purebred malamute. I know who bred him, although I got him from the shelter, after he spent three weeks at the pound. A kind animal control officer didn't have the heart to put him down and kept Heyoka much longer than he was supposed to! His breeder bred strictly for size. He's not breeding anymore and has actually been deported from Canada for non-dog related issues.Originally Posted by Freedom

Tons of pics of him. I'll do his own thread very soon.Originally Posted by jenn_librarian
They are that close together. They are good friends, despite Heyoka's persistent theft of Pingo's tennis balls!Originally Posted by ramanth

Glacier, could you give some hugs to Heyoka the magnificent big lug and to pretty Pingo and Pirate girl for me. I'd like to give Heyoka's breeder a swift kick in the backside. He just looks fluffy and smiley to me!Originally Posted by Karen
Edited to add. Does a malamute shed his heavy coat in the spring, like your huskies do? Cos I volunteer to visit in the spring, during scooping and combing season. Comb and pet, comb and pet, that's me![]()
