    Yes it does! My brother in law has a GSD also, her name is Sage.
    So now in the family we have GSD's named: Sage, Sarge, Sierra & Buddy!

    I have two word for him: cutie cutie!!...

    he´s sooooo cute!!! and i loooove the name!! I had a husky girl named like that (sad part she got hit by a car)
