Hello Sundance! What a beauty you are. You look so sweet in the picture you and your meowmie let us see. I am so sorry about your pal, Snuggles. He sounds like a wonderful cat. So females are the rules, eh? My two cats, Snow and Angel, would agree with you there. They are both females and there are no male cats in their house, just a boy dog.
