Jack is having an operation: UPDATED 14/02/08

so glad he's home and ok...what exactly did they do?Did you get the details?Or were you just so happy to get him home knowing he's all better that you rushed him home

i'm so happy for Jack and you and your family that he's home.
He must be so happy to be back home!

As far as I know, they have removed his left thyroid gland. This was enlarged so had to be taken out. And yes I was so pleased to see him I didn't take much notice I have to admit! But no really he should make a full recovery. There is a chance that in the future his other thyroid gland could also do the same thing, but we'll have to cross that bridge if we come to it.
He literally jumped out of the nurses arms into mine and loved me and kissed me and started purring his head off, the nurse was actually quite taken aback and went' awwwww' hehe so I think he charmed everybody whilst he was there.

Awe.... I'm so glad that Jack is now at home and recuperating. Positive thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery for him!

The best vet care in the world doesn't mean much if an animal doesn't have a loving family. Jack jumping into your arms demonstrates just how loving his family is.

I'm so glad that he's doing well and soon things will be back to normal. Jack is back!
