More prayers for Emily. I hope that as her temp gets back to normal, her body can start setting everything else back to where it should be.

I've been defrosted-- Thanks, Sana
I so hope Emily is feeling better now, and her temperature back to normal. Sending her lots of healing thoughts.

"I don't know which weapons will be used in the third World war, but in the fourth, it will be sticks and stones" --- Albert Einstein.
Well she made it through the nightbut she is not out the woods yet. I picked her up from the emergency vet this morning and brought her over to my regular vet.
She is still having great difficulty maintaining her body temperature but at least her kidney levels have dropped significantly. When the BUN was first measured yesterday afternoon, the machine could not do a reading that high (>130) but now she is down to 45 (the high normal is 34).
She is being kept in an incubator and on warmed IV fluids and antibiotics. They will re-test her later this afternoon to see how she is doing.
Your thoughts and prayers are working, but could I bother you to say another one for her today...
No bother, that's for sure. Will keep those prayers going for sweet Emily.....
Blessings,
Mary

The vet just phoned me and told me that Emily is unable to maintain her body temperature despite everything they are doing.
The time has come for me to go say my final farewell to her![]()
