I look at this picture -

    compared to this one -

She has turned from being cautious, hesitant, afraid - to being confident, smiling, proud.

What a difference a little love can make in a life

Beautiful girl! What a wonderful turn of events!

Have any of the pack picked her as a favourite pal? Tehya?

Tehya is a little much for a senior! They do get along and Pirate has trotted beside her a bit. She spends most of her time with Bandit. Bandit likes to hang out in the shop and Pirate spends some time in there every day. Bandit is my cranky old man dog, even when he was a young dog, he was a cranky old man! He needs a break from the pack regularly. He lets Pirate sleep on an old jacket he had claimed as his own. She's not allowed near his glove collection yet, but he's ok with sharing his jacket! Bandit is a glove thief. He has a vast collection of gloves. He's partial to leather work gloves!

Just goes to show what a little Glacier love and care can do. Thank you for making the rest of Pirate's life worthwhile.

Pirate is a lovely lady. That first photo, in the snow, is so beautiful.

Now, don't you feel good, looking at the 'before' and 'now' views? You have made a difference in her life, touched her to the core. Now she knows what is it like to be loved. Such a wonderful thing!

Glacier, how is Pirate's "tummy trouble"? I hope it's gone! [(hug)25]=hugs for everybody who will accept one!

It's gone. The fast and then a slow reintroduction of her new kibble fixed things right up.

Glacier, how is Pirate doing? And Tehya, the cats, and the rest of the family too!

What a beautiful change she has made in how she carries herself. She is simply gorgeous and has such wonderful, soulful eyes.
I'm glad she has such a dedicated caretaker that sees her potential and gives her the love and understanding she deserves.
