Gini, the only time those cherry vodkas knock MOFF out is when I make them! I'll be careful with them from now on.

Well, those who want can join me - I'll be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet - at least will be recording it, instead of the Super Bowl. I'll watch the Clydesdale commericals online afterwards!

Cold rain falling here tonight, so I've made a big pot of chai, some blueberry tea and some snickerdoodles to share. Takers?

It's a whole fun show of just various puppies let loose on a pretend "football field" tp play with toys and each other. Completely adorable, no plot or story line, just gratuitous puppies being puppies! And there's a "halftime show" featuring kittens, so the cat lovers can have some fun, too!

*yawn* *stretch* Who wants some French toast made with Bailey's, bacon and a nice pot of coffee? It rained SO hard last night. I think winter was cancelled here due to lack of interest.

You have a taker here on both, smokey the elder! Uh, winter wasn't cancelled in Pittsburgh yesterday. There was a bad ice storm here and we had every kind of precipation you could think of. Rain, freezing rain, ice, sleet, finally finishing as a little snow. Fender benders were everywhere. Nope, winter reappeared here.

Oh my, someone to serve ME breakfast - I can do this!! It sounds yummy.

My neighbor is away for a few days and I just returned from taking care of her three dogs and one kitty.

It took me forever because I couldn't get the little one to eat. Her two goldens whoofed down breakfast - but the little one eats one bite at a time. Also one of the goldens left me a "surprise" that I had to clean up.

All of that on an empty stomach - yes, I need some breakfast!

MOFF, I wish he wouldn't have seen his shadow, either! Yesterday in Pittsburgh we had one of the worst ice storms to hit us. We had every kind of precipitation you can name, freezing rain, plain old rain, sleet, ice pellets, and finally some light snow. There were a lot of fender-benders, too.

I really hate ice storms. I remember several years back when we had ice so thick the power was out. All night long it sounded like rifle shots as tree limbs broke and fell.

Hope your weather gets better soon!!!

I'm with you davidp, that ice storm really sucked. My driveway is like a skating rink. Even Lady with her 4 feet was having a hard time.
RIP Lady, Thursday's won't be the same without you to cuddle with by the fire
