Max is a silver. Albinos are white with pink eyes. DEWs are dark-eyed whites (like an albino but with black eyes) and a silver is an all white ferret with a little black sprinkling their guard hairs...basically a salt and pepper look. Max's tail is a yellow color due to a bad shed. Ferrets with white coats get tinged yellow when their coats overproduce oil. I've had him for about 3 months and now that he's finally on a better diet I think his coat is starting to catch up some, but not completely. That's ok...I love him...yellow coat and all.
