Great news!!! Those pictures you posted from the airport are wonderful - his little expression really tugs at the ol' heartstrings, doesn't it? What a sweetie pie! I'll bet he'll sleep goooooood tonight!

I am so glad that you are in your 2nd foster home, Woody! I can't wait to see pictures! Any ideas on when you are going to your forever home?

I am ever so glad that this came off without a hitch. Kudos to all the participants (and a Happy Birthday too to Karen's John). Thankfully the staff at the airport had the heart to take good care of Woody while he waited for his ride.

Phred, you get a gold star for your logistics coordination. It did seem like quite a challenge but you've got the knack or should I say skill set.

This is a new start for Woody so I started a new thread to boot.

John and I expected the Woodster at 745p so on a whim, I checked the tracking at 6p and they said he was in Phila Thankfully I had food, water, blankies, leash ready, so John and I flew out of the house, no lights on, coats over arms and raced to the airport. We left without cameras, sorry, but relied on our new camera phones.

I want to thank Phred for all his hard work. I apologize...we did look at his wonderful directions, but our printer is broken, but My John read them and, thanks to a great memory, said he could find the "spot" Your directions were right on, Phred, and we are very appreciative.

AA employees were petting Woody through the bars (he was on his back). All smiles. John and I fed him a little and I walked him. He sat on my lap on the way home and fell asleep.

Sorry this is late..by the time we got home, played with him, took pictures (will be downloaded tonight or tomorrow..we are pooped) and spent time with the VERY annoyed Princess Klo..time has flown. John and I have had headaches all day..mine from excitement for sure, but are now OK, knowing Woody is fine.

Woody is officially up for RANSOM!!!!!! Sorry Jenn. Good luck getting the little nipper! Woody is asleep in John's caring arms while I type. He initiated my dining room rug when I wasn't looking and also the Big Bed, where I put him for a split second while I opened the door to his crate. (blankets etc now being washed). Woody would have NOTHING to do with his crate while we were up and about, so I took him back out for his 10th pee and now he's out like a light.

So please be patient for photos..just know the little pumpkin love is sweet, adorable, no worse for wear. His ears are amazing. I'm full of puppy teethie chomps..who cares? He is a living angel. I'm just glad I could do this. Puppy fever had biten me

    I love you guys

I'm so glad to hear that Woody is finally in Pa. and with Karen & John until Jenn picks him up. He sure is a cutie pie and I can't wait to see many more pictures of him in the future. Thanks Leslie,Phred,Karen & John, and of course Jenn for coordinating all of this so that Woody could get to his new home.

    Woody's new thread.

I think Phred, Karen, John and the Tx crew need to take a lesson from Woody and go to bed and be ready for a big day of PIC TAKING TOMORROW!

Gold Star & Atta-Girl delivered for Cargo Supervisor Shawna

I like to recognise Folks who do a good job - and to do that you ususally have to talk to their Boss. Woody would still be sitting in Texas waiting for the Spring Thaw if it weren't for a gal named Shawna at AA Cargo in Dallas -
she said the Magic Words that got Woody accepted to fly yesterday.

I determined who her supervisor was - John W. - and called him today.

Very Friendly chap, who turned SUPER Friendly after I explained I wanted to
pass a God Star on to one of his Supervisors. He listened intently as I recapped the grief & aggravation Leslie suffered at Wichita Falls, then replayed Shawna's intervention and resolution of the Woody problem with one tactful phone call.

He about *bubbled* with pride - and promised to recognise and reward Shawna for her good Customer Service skills. He also promised to *look into* the situation at Wichita Falls to see if they could eliminate future problems there. Then he thanked ME for taking the time to praise Shawna and the rest of his Dallas Cargo phone people.

Hope she likes her Gold Star.

That is great Phred! But maybe you should put it in writing so it could go into her file. That's what we do here. We post it so everyone can see, and a copy goes into our permanent file. Just a thought.

Thanks to everyone at PT and especially Shawna!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I think there is a certain someone around here who deserves one (or more) of those gold stars. For manning Logistics Central and for follow-up services.

I think you deserve one of the biggest gold stars. You are just Mr. Organization and just have a way of getting people together to get things done. I had to force myself not to say "YES SIR!" a couple times!

You really have been such a tremendous help, I'm just so glad that we were fortunate enough to have your help!

Everyone was really awesome through this whole adventure... and I can't wait to get my hands on my sweet boy!
