7:15 pm ~ Karen & John HAVE HIM!!

They're headed out of the terminal as I type ...
One Potty Call comin rite up!

He was "entertaining" the Baggage Office Gang from inside his crate when
    Karen & John arrived.

I think Jenn is going to have to *fight* for him ... Karen says he can stay with her!

By now they're all in the Bus and headed north for Foster Home #2.

    GOOD JOB, Everyone!

Where's the raised eyebrow smiley when you need it?! Leslie said I was going to need a crowbar to get Woody away from Karen!

Sorry Karen, but you can't keep him, lol. You can always puppysit if I ever get to go on a vacation, but nothing permanent!

I am ever so glad that this came off without a hitch. Kudos to all the participants (and a Happy Birthday too to Karen's John). Thankfully the staff at the airport had the heart to take good care of Woody while he waited for his ride.

Phred, you get a gold star for your logistics coordination. It did seem like quite a challenge but you've got the knack or should I say skill set.

This is a new start for Woody so I started a new thread to boot.

John and I expected the Woodster at 745p so on a whim, I checked the tracking at 6p and they said he was in Phila Thankfully I had food, water, blankies, leash ready, so John and I flew out of the house, no lights on, coats over arms and raced to the airport. We left without cameras, sorry, but relied on our new camera phones.

I want to thank Phred for all his hard work. I apologize...we did look at his wonderful directions, but our printer is broken, but My John read them and, thanks to a great memory, said he could find the "spot" Your directions were right on, Phred, and we are very appreciative.

AA employees were petting Woody through the bars (he was on his back). All smiles. John and I fed him a little and I walked him. He sat on my lap on the way home and fell asleep.

Sorry this is late..by the time we got home, played with him, took pictures (will be downloaded tonight or tomorrow..we are pooped) and spent time with the VERY annoyed Princess Klo..time has flown. John and I have had headaches all day..mine from excitement for sure, but are now OK, knowing Woody is fine.

Woody is officially up for RANSOM!!!!!! Sorry Jenn. Good luck getting the little nipper! Woody is asleep in John's caring arms while I type. He initiated my dining room rug when I wasn't looking and also the Big Bed, where I put him for a split second while I opened the door to his crate. (blankets etc now being washed). Woody would have NOTHING to do with his crate while we were up and about, so I took him back out for his 10th pee and now he's out like a light.

So please be patient for photos..just know the little pumpkin love is sweet, adorable, no worse for wear. His ears are amazing. I'm full of puppy teethie chomps..who cares? He is a living angel. I'm just glad I could do this. Puppy fever had biten me

    I love you guys

I'm so glad to hear that Woody is finally in Pa. and with Karen & John until Jenn picks him up. He sure is a cutie pie and I can't wait to see many more pictures of him in the future. Thanks Leslie,Phred,Karen & John, and of course Jenn for coordinating all of this so that Woody could get to his new home.

Geesh, I've been gone a couple hours & just look at all the drama I missed (thankfully, or I'd have NO nails by now!) Big hugs to all the wonderful PTers helping get Woody to his new home!!!!
At least we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief! He made it through the flight!

Woody is now officially checking his new yard out at his new foster home with the lovely Karen and John! Karen is already in love and all she can say to me about him is "Oh my God is he so precious". She's truly in love. Yep, Jenn, bring that crowbar when you go to pick him up

I think I can officially say that Karen has puppy fever! She's only known Woody for an hour or so and she's absolutely in love. Woody's a charmer, for sure. He's got the personality to go along with his drop-dead gorgeous puppy face

I know I've said it a thousand times before but THANK YOU PET TALK!!!!! . I adore this place! I miss Woody a lot but he's in such good hands. And I have to add that after Woody left, I let Boone and Kersey play in the back yard and I let them stay out for about 20 minutes or so and Boone didn't jump the fence! What a good boy. I'm 99% sure he was jumping because of Woody.

This is the perfect ending for Woody...and the perfect beginning for Jennie I bet he's the only rescue basset flown in from TX in all of PA!

I have been praying for Woody all day at work! I can't check message boards from work though, so it's been killing me to wait and find out.

    YAY WOODY!

    I'm so glad he's safe.
